Jensen Ackles is a popular American actor as well as a director. Ackles wanted to pursue an education in the field of sports medicine in order to be an acupuncturist, but his modelling gig changed his life. He was soon a part of Eric Brady on the Emmy-winning Days of our Lives. He is known because of his captivating image, stunning screen-presence and the ability to impress viewers with his impressive acting. The humble beginnings of his career helped him to rise to fame in Hollywood and television. He is most well-known for his portrayals of Eric Brady, Jason Teague, as well as Dean Winchester on popular American TV series. He has received numerous honors and accolades. He's also tried his hand in the field of production and direction on his own time. He's directed several seasons of Supernatural and was rewarded in the process. He describes himself as a nondenominational Christian.
