Tara Reid started with commercials as a child and finally made heads turn when she appeared on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Though her acting skills have been scrutinized however, she's without doubt able to pull off any role she's been in. Her big break was when she starred as Bunny as a character on the set of The Big Lebowski. This film proved to be an important stepping stone for her career. She began getting offers for films like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. However it is American Pie the cult movie about teenagers and sexual encounters that established Reid as a promising face on the horizon in Hollywood due to her character in the role of virgin Vicky. This did not lead to the big lucrative Hollywood career. The career of Reid was plagued with several failures, including Josie and the Pussycats. A brief cameo on screen in American Pie 2 did nothing help her resurrect her career. Reid has more fame for her work as a fashion stylist and party host than she is an actress. The reason for this is her on-screen mistakes, publicized plastic surgeries, and other blink-and-miss performances.
